Cupping involves the use of silicon suction cups to lift the tissue up to stretch & separate the layers of superficial fascia. 

There are numerous benefits to cupping such as increasing circulation, stretching soft tissues, separating adhesions, increasing fluid movement between joints, stimulating digestive movements, and more. 

The cups do cause markings on the skin which will fade within a week. Cupping marks are caused by the release of dead static blood, lymph, cellular debris, pathogens and toxins being released to the superficial tissue. They are not painful and can range from no mark to a deep purple.
